Structural Revit Technician, Austin

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • 4+ years of structural Revit experience.
  • 2-year Certificate/Associate Degrees from an accredited vocational or technical institute is a plus, but not required.
  • Must have High School Diploma.
  • Must hold a valid AutoCAD certificate from accredited Technical School.
  • Ability to read and understand Architectural. MEP, and Structural drawings
  • Be proficient with different construction methods and materials including wood, steel, concrete, light gauge, masonry, ICF, Tilt-wall, post-tension, et al.
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
  • Ability to juggle multiple projects/tasks successfully.
  • Attention to detail is a must!
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD (Revit experience is a plus, but not required).

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Utilize advanced features within Revit in order to complete project setups and engineering redlines with no training or oversight beyond learning company standards. Examples of these features include: Family creation and maintenance, create templates, etc.
  • Overlay architectural backgrounds with current structural plans and identify areas where conflicts occur.
  • Identify where unconventional conditions exist.
  • Review redlines and make inquiries regarding non-standard items as needed to ensure quality of product and to meet client expectations.
  • Apply drafting and checking procedures and applicable client and project drafting standards consistently with no input.
  • Prepare complete structural construction drawings from engineering design sketches, architectural plans, specifications and verbal instructions.

Structural Engineer (P.E.), Austin and Houston

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Structural Design Engineer with at least 4 years of experience post school.
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
  • Experience ideally could include structural design of wood, concrete, steel commercial and residential buildings. Projects normally range from small wood framed residential buildings to multi-story reinforced concrete buildings.
  • BS in Engineering with a structural design emphasis is required. PE is a plus.
  • Experience with RAM, SP Wall, and RISA is a plus.

Relocation will be offered to the right candidate.

Salary range $85,000 – $95,000.
