Civil CAD Technician II, Austin
QUALIFICATIONS:
- 4+ years of experience in land development/subdivision civil drafting and design.
- Intermediate proficiency with Civil 3D, corridors, surfaces, profiles, etc.
- Certificate or Associates Degree in civil drafting/design or equivalent education.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD 3d (or equivalent) software.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Intermediate proficiency with Civil 3D, corridors, surfaces, profiles, etc.
- Follows all CAD standards, and has an understanding/awareness of presentation. How the plans are “supposed” to look.
- Competency with jurisdictions, codes, research, etc. Is able to correctly prepare plans with “research” type items such floodplain info, zoning info, etc.
- Understands what details are necessary for each project and sets up thorough detail sheets.
- Performs basic design with moderate instruction from engineer. Has a working knowledge of engineering principles and is able provide design input and feedback.
$31-$37/hr, wage will depend on ability
Structural Engineer (P.E.), Austin or Houston
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Structural Design Engineer with at least 4 years of experience post school.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Experience ideally could include structural design of wood, concrete, steel commercial and residential buildings. Projects normally range from small wood framed residential buildings to multi-story reinforced concrete buildings.
- BS in Engineering with a structural design emphasis is required. PE is required.
- Experience with RAM, SP Wall, and RISA is a plus.
Relocation will be offered to the right candidate.
Salary range $91,000 – $103,000.
Structural Engineer in Training (E.I.T.), Austin or Houston
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Structural Design Engineer in Training with at least 1 year of experience post school.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Experience ideally could include structural design of wood, concrete, steel commercial and residential buildings. Projects normally range from small wood framed residential buildings to multi-story reinforced concrete buildings.
- BS in Engineering with a structural design emphasis is required.
- Experience with RAM, SP Wall, and RISA is a plus.
Relocation will be offered to the right candidate.
Salary range $65,000 – $81,000.
