Plaza North Bank
Austin, Texas
Texas Design Interests, LLC accommodated an extremely compressed schedule in the design of this 6,000 square foot bank building. The design itself presented challenges to create a two story open structure over half the footprint, utilizing an in-wall steel frame, while providing a clerestory for 70% of the building perimeter. The building’s lateral system and perimeter columns are all located within the wall cavity to provide maximum floor space and interior design flexibility.
