Duties: As a Managing Member, I assist in the daily operations of the business, as well as the structural division of the Austin branch. I assist in the management of the Austin structural design team and perform a significant portion of the human relations and marketing duties for the firm. I perform structural engineering design of commercial and residential structures, investigations and forensic analysis of distressed structures, and prepare technical reports on existing construction.

Duties: As Project Manager, I was responsible for the design, production, and evaluation of both commercial and residential structures. Projects included retail centers, office buildings, industrial facilities, multi-family structures, hotels, restaurants, service centers, storage facilities, military installations, and healthcare/retirement facilities.

Duties: As Branch Manager I was responsible for the day-to-day management of the engineering, design, and drafting functions as well as personnel management in the Austin office. My primary experience is in structural engineering design of commercial buildings and special structures; forensic engineering analysis and investigation of distressed structures; observation, investigation, and technical reporting on existing construction.

Some sample projects I designed while in the Austin office include: Escarpment Village in Austin, TX, Abuelo's Mexican Food Embassy in Austin, TX, Legacy Shopping Center in San Antonio, TX, Wolf Ranch Shopping Center in Georgetown, TX, Eastern Lakes Village Condominiums in Walton County, FL, Tri-City Distributors in New Braunfels, TX, Warrens Corner Office Building in San Antonio, TX, The Triangle - Block F Parking Garage and Retail in Austin, TX, and Mountain View Shopping Center in Kalispell, MT. Additionally, I performed the investigation of 92 existing Wal-Mart structures to determine their lateral stability and structural integrity, and recommended engineered rehabilitations where required.
