Duties: As the manager of the structural engineering department, which consisted of four engineers in training and seven CAD technicians, I was responsible for the production of more than one hundred projects each month. These projects were a wide variety of scope and complexity, including residential foundations and frames, concrete tilt-wall structures, light gage residential and commercial structures, structural steel office buildings and retail centers. Additionally, my department conducted field inspections of commercial and residential projects to verify compliance with engineered plans, and provided construction consulting.
